Maximiliano Alejandro Andaur Henriquez

Electrical Engineering: Advanced Control & Energy Systems.

About Me

I am an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Concepción, passionate about the convergence of power electronics, advanced control, and technological innovation. My education has focused on solving complex problems using Optimization and Artificial Intelligence tools applied to electrical systems. My experience ranges from designing large-scale infrastructure projects such as industrial photovoltaic plants, pumping systems, and efficient lighting, to cutting-edge research in power electronics. Currently, I am developing my thesis on the control of multilevel converters (CHB and T-Type) using Modulated Model Predictive Control (MFPC) and dispatchable Virtual Oscillator Control (dVoc) for Grid-Forming applications.

What do I bring to a project?

  • Solid theoretical and practical foundation: Specialization in static converters, non-linear control, and system optimization.
  • Execution capability: Proven field experience and technical design (AutoCAD), with special honors in high-impact social and energy projects.
  • Bilingual technological profile: English proficiency (C1), competitive programming in C++, and AI solution development in Python.

My goal is to drive energy efficiency and the transition towards smarter, more resilient electrical grids.
